- BRUSH PILE
- The City of Hickman offers a community brush pile for organic waste. This facility is open to residents of the City of Hickman only and keys may be checked out from the City Office.
- READING CENTRE
- Located in Downtown Hickman, the Reading Centre offers resident the ability to browse and checkout various different literary titles from children to adult. The Reading Centre also has a personal computer connected to the Internet for public use.
- POLICE
- The City of Hickman is serviced by the Lancaster County Sheriff's Department.
- FIRE
- The City of Hickman is serviced by the Hickman Rural and Rescue Volunteer Fire Department.
