Hickman Rural Fire and Rescue is a volunteer department consisting of twenty-five volunteer firefighters and EMTs.

The Department services all of Hickman and much of the surrounding area. Below are the boundaries of the Hickman Rural Fire and Rescue district:
For non-emergency Fire Department inquiries or for burn permits located outside of the City of Hickman (Burning is not allowed within City limits), please visit the Fire Station on Tuesdays between 6:50 pm - 7:00 pm. Fire Station Phone number is 402-540-9408.
