Open Registration (Online Only): July 1 - July 31 each year
Late Registration: August 1 - August 7
Registration availability is not guaranteed after Open Registration closes
A $15.00 late fee will be added to registration fees beginning August 1 as noted on the registration form.
No late registrations will be accepted after August 7 or once teams are full.

NOTE TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Due to the complexity of team creation, equity, scheduling, uniforms, pictures, etc., player and/or team adjustments will not be made after late registration deadlines. Waiting lists are available after late registration has closed in the event of a last-minute cancellation. Spots on the waiting list are first come first served and a spot on a team is not guaranteed.
Age Divisions (2026-2027 School Year):
Pre-K - K (must be 4 years old by June 1, 2026)
1st - 3rd Grade
SHIN GUARDS ARE RECOMMENDED AND ARE NOT PROVIDED.
Due to limited field availability, games may be held on additional weekdays or over the weekend based on registration amounts. No games will be held on Wednesdays or Sunday mornings.
Note: Flag Football and Soccer seasons overlap. Participation in multiple community programs (specifically YMCA Fall Soccer) may result in scheduling conflicts with Hickman Youth Sports and games could be held at the same time.

All teams will be added to GameChanger (GC) when the rosters are completed. Invitation emails will com directly from GC to join the team. This app is a platform for coaches and parents to easily communicate throughout the season. All necessary functions can be completed under the free version. GC messages are not monitored by City Staff. Please contact the Activities Coordinator directly at activities@hickman.ne.gov with any questions or concerns. |
| SCHEELS Discount Coupon: | A 20% Off Team Discount Coupon will be distributed to all registered participant's parent/guardians. This coupon will be valid for a 9-day window. Additional information will be distributed at a later date. |
| Jerseys: | HYS jerseys will be distributed to coaches to disperse to their individual players who register with a jersey. HYS jerseys are the blue shirt with white logo and white shirt with red logo. |
The City of Hickman Parks and Recreation Department annually facilitates fall youth soccer for children between Pre-K and 3rd grade. Children must be 4 years old by June 1st of the corresponding year. The games generally take place from mid September through late October. All games are played at the Hickman City Park.
In case of inclement weather, please sign up for News Updates and Alerts and make sure that you regularly check both the City's Facebook page as well as the City's website. Cancellations by the City will be made by approximately 3:00 pm on game day, past 3:00 pm, please contact your team's coach.
