Utility Billing Cycle

The electric, water, and sewer utilities are billed monthly and operated by the City of Hickman. Meters are read on or around the 18th of the month. Bills are calculated and mailed on the last business day of each month.  Utility bills are due upon receipt and are considered to be late after the 20th of each month. Bills are considered delinquent if not paid on or before the date stated on the bill. Bills not paid by said date are subject to a late fee of ten percent (10%) of the amount past due. Disconnection notices will be mailed to those accounts considered to be delinquent.

The City accepts checks, cash, money orders, credit/debit cards, and ACH direct payments. A utility drop box is located by the front door of the City Office for making non-cash utility bill payments.

If needing Utilities in Hickman, please fill out the Residential Application, and return it along any supporting documents to the City Office for review.

Questions on Utility bills, please contact the City Office at 402.792.2212.
