Governing Body

The City of Hickman is governed by a Mayor and six City Council members. The term of office of the Mayor and the City Council is four years. Three Council members' terms expire every two years. The election of the Council members is held on the date of the statewide general election.

The Governing Body meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. The meetings are being held at the Hickman Community Center/City Hall 115 Locust Street, Room 128. City Council meetings start promptly at 7:00 pm.

Submittal of Requests for Future Meeting Items:

Individuals who have appropriate items for City Council or City Staff consideration should complete the Comment, Concern & Agenda Request Form available at the City Office from the City Clerk. If the issue can be handled administratively without Council Action, notification will be provided.  If the item is scheduled for a City Council Meeting or Workshop, notification of the event date will be given.
