The City of Hickman Nebraska, an EOE, is currently accepting applications for full-time positions of:


  • Utility Billing Clerk: Work entails all City Utility Billing and Customer Service related matters that involve establishing and maintaining customer utility accounts; generating and mailing monthly utility bills; handling customer inquiries; preparing monthly reports; and collecting a variety of funds.   • Office Assistant: Work entails greeting customers; processing applications and maintaining records for a variety of municipal licenses and registrations; organizing and fundraising for community events; maintaining office supply inventory; assisting city staff with administrative tasks; and collecting a variety of fundsClick Here for full Office Assistant Job Description.
  • Maintenance II, Public Works Dept: Work entails general public works and parks repairs and maintenance; operating a variety of vehicles, tools and types of equipment for City Streets, Parks, Water Treatment Plant, Electrical Infrastructure, and Wastewater Treatment Plant. Position requires the ability to work in extreme weather conditions, to be on call after hours for emergencies, and on a rotating schedule of weekend duty.  Click Here for full Maintenance II Job Description.
