The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) and resulting contract is to acquire technology support, equipment installation and maintenance, networking oversight, cybersecurity, and future planning of technology needs for the municipality of the City of Hickman, Nebraska for a contract period of one year.
Technology firms desiring to contract with the City of Hickman for Technology Managed Services shall submit their proposal by electronic version that must be received by 5:00 PM on September 10, 2026. The City of Hickman reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted. REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
On-Call General Engineering Services & Street Superintendent Services
City of Hickman, Nebraska - August 2026
The City of Hickman is seeking qualifications to support selecting engineering firms to provide general engineering services and street superintendent services as needed. The scope of work will vary as the need arises. The City does not intend on selecting a single multi-disciplined firm to handle all aspects of potential need. Instead, the goal of the RFQ is to secure multiple engineering firms that the City can rely on to complete specialized tasks. This will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract and selection does not guarantee award of any work.
The CONSULTANTS must be qualified consulting engineering firms, licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska, with the ability to provide sufficient documentation and references as to their abilities. The selection process will be Qualifications Based Selection (QBS). LOI and all correspondence relating to this RFQ shall be submitted to: Kelly Oelke, City Administrator, City of Hickman, 115 Locust Street, Hickman, Ne 68372.
LOI’s shall be received at the above address no later than 5:00 pm on September 10, 2026, late submittals and faxed or emailed submittals will not be considered.
